Exhibition at Resipole Studios

My exhibition at Resipole Studios, entitled “Creatives”, consisted of portraits of creative people in the Ardnamurchan and wider Lochaber area. This is an ongoing project. I have been aware for sometime of the large number of creative people living and working in these areas. With the help of Resipole Studios I began to make contact with artists initially. I wished however to photograph people from all areas of the arts and so my project has expanded to cover all genres.

I felt compelled to photograph this diverse range of individuals in their creative environments. My aim is to capture each individual’s personality creating a connection between viewer and artist and also their work. My “Creatives” project so far includes individuals from all areas of the arts including painters, sculptors and authors.
